Ian Williams

I started on hospital radio in London in 1986, presenting music and sport programmes.  I also did live football commentaries from Spurs home matches. I went on to present various music based shows on other hospital and community radio stations in London.

Between 1995-1999 I worked as a freelance sports reporter for Capital Radio (Capital Gold Sport) in London.

Following relocation to Devon I drifted away from radio, but caught the bug again and in March 2016 joined Phonic FM in Exeter to present a Saturday breakfast show.  In October of that year I joined Bay FM as the Saturday afternoon sports presenter.  I also had a couple of really enjoyable years presenting Drivetime for the station before a move to Somerset meant I sadly had to give up that show.  I’m really happy though to be able to continue to present the sports programme.
