    Exmouth Town bounced back from their FA Cup defeat on Tuesday at Berkhamsted with a credible home victory over Evesham Utd at Southern Road by 4 goals to 1.

    In local football on Saturday Exmouth Town bounced back from their FA Cup defeat on Tuesday at Berkhamsted with a credible home victory over Evesham Utd at Southern Road by 4 goals to 1.

    In a game of two half's Town started at pace scoring 3 goals inside the first 25 minutes and although the visitors netted a penalty another good strike from Levi Landricombe put them 3 up at half time. The visitors had much more of the play after the break but Town held on to secure another win to leave them in second place in the league after 5 game's.

    In the Peninsula League East Teignmouth came from behind twice to draw 2 all at Okehampton Argyle, Axminster Town were well beaten by Brixham 4-0 and Cullompton lost by the same score to leaders Ivybridge at Speeds Meadow.

    However there were big victories for Sidmouth Town at Elburton Villa and Crediton Utd at north devon side Holsworthy with both sides winning 5-0 but Honiton Town unfortunately went down 4-2 away to Torrington FC.

    In the A&S Devon League County Cup Beer Albion won 4-0 at home to Bere Alston, Budleigh Salterton beat Thorverton 5-2 at Greenway Lane but Topsham Town were knocked out at Exeter University by 3 goals to 1.

    Finally in the Devon and Exeter League Division One East Budleigh drew one all with Lympstone Utd at the Recreation Ground and Upottery beat Hatherleigh 4-2 at Glebe Park while in Divison Two Exmouth Spartan's won 2-0 at Dunkerswell Rovers.

    In the County Cup game Exmouth Rovers beat Otterton by 3 goals to 0 at the Commons.
