A man arrested in connection to a serious sexual assault in Exeter has today been released on police bail with strict conditions, until Monday 11 July.
Detective Chief Inspector Rachael Bentley said: “Our investigation into this attack continues and many people have already come forward to the police with footage and information.
“Today we are asking for anyone who has yet to have spoken with us and who lives in the area of the Catacombs, North Road and the Iron Bridge to review CCTV and Ring Doorbells for the time period of 1-2:30am on Saturday 18 June.
“We are also appealing to any road users who would have been in the area between 1-2:30am on Saturday 18 June to review dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of note that they can share with investigative officers.
“No matter how small you feel the piece of information maybe, or how short the piece of footage you may have captured, it could be a vital piece of evidence in this investigation so please contact the police immediately if you have anything that could assist.”
