Police appeal for information after a number car break ins in Honiton

Between Monday 5th February and Tuesday 6th February there has been a series of vehicle break-ins on King Street, King Mews, Jerrard Close, and Streamers Meadows in Honiton.

Enquiries have been conducted in the local area in relation to the incidents that have been reported to the Police. If your vehicle has been broken into, please report this to us via 101. Please remember that the Police do not monitor Facebook community groups.

From CCTV enquiries, the offenders have broken into unlocked cars and have caused damage to gain entry to cars where valuables have been inside. Please ensure that your car is locked and that valuables are kept out of the vehicle. If you have a car with keyless entry, then keep your keys inside a Faraday box or pouch to prevent keyless entry when the key is in close proximity.

If you have any information that may lead to the identification of the offenders, please contact 101 via email, online reporting tool or by phone, quoting log 788 of 06/02/2024.
