Whilst engaged in an exercise using the RNLI boarding boat and Exmouth RNLI All Weather Lifeboat they came across a 6.2 mtr rib with complete loss of engine power off Exmouth.
The three casualties on board the rib asked for assistance to their mooring in the Shelly area of the River Exe. They were all wearing lifejackets.
This assistance was duly given and, satisfied that those on board the rib were safe and secure, the crew carried on with their exercise at 6.45pm.
The RNLI boarding boat was crewed by Helm, Harry Griffin and crew Mark Cockman and Geoff Mills.
