Emergency services were called at around 5.45pm on Tuesday 26 September 2023 to the B3174 between Cranbrook and Clyst Honiton to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision.
The incident involved a silver Isuzu D-Max and a black Harley Davidson motorcycle.
As a result of the incident, the male motorbike rider was conveyed to hospital by Devon Air Ambulance with serious, potentially life changing injuries.
The male driver of the car was uninjured.
Police remained at the scene to carry out a scene investigation and the road was closed during this time.
