A free drop-in event in Exeter on 28th September will offer advice on helping residents to be fully prepared for the colder winter months ahead.
The event has been organised by Exeter Community Energy (ECOE), a social enterprise that empowers residents in the city to take ownership of local renewable energy.
ECOE’s Healthy Homes for Wellbeing team will be at St Stephens Church in Exeter on Thursday 28 September, 9.30am to 12.30pm. Together with trusted partners, it will offer free advice on ensuring homes are ready for winter.
Hot drinks will be available and there is a chance to chat to dedicated advisors, as well as listen to two talks:
- South West Water representatives will cover all their services and support to help residents cope with water bills and water debt
- An advisor from National Energy Action will presenting a Q&A on smart meters – a topic that can cause confusion
There will also be a free draw for all attendees to enter – with prizes including a slow cooker, heated throw and energy saving devices.
All are welcome to attend this free event.
