Bin collections following the Spring Bank Holiday

All bin collections carried out by Exeter City Council will take place one day later because of the bank holiday. This replaces the previous system of moving the Monday collections to the following Saturday

People in Exeter are being reminded about bin collections following Monday’s Spring Bank Holiday Monday (29 May).

All bin collections carried out by Exeter City Council will take place one day later because of the bank holiday.

This new way of operating - brought in this year - replaces the previous system of moving the Monday collections to the following Saturday.

So this is how it will work:

Bin collections due on Monday 29 May will take place on Tuesday 30 May

Collections during the rest of the week will be:

Collections scheduled for Tuesday 30 May will be collected on Wednesday 31 May

Collections scheduled for Wednesday 31 May will be collected on Thursday 1 June

Collections scheduled for Thursday 1 June will be collected on Friday 2 June

Collections scheduled for Friday 2 May will be collected on Saturday 3 June
