Marpool School Staff receive Easter Gifts Bags as a Thank You

The School Association ran a project to raise money to buy all the staff an Easter Egg as a thank you for looking after out children and keeping them safe and educated.

The children from the school also wrote a poem to go with the gift bags that reads :-

‘Marpool we love you, we are glad we are back.
With all your kindness, to keep us on track.
At home or at school, we know you are there.
It makes us all happy, to know that you care.
Whoever you are, you have helped us along the way.
To becoming strong people, at the end of the day.
Here are some goodies, to help you relax.
THANK YOU spectacularly, for having our backs.’

In the end they managed to raise enough money to make up 100 gift bags with eggs, creme eggs, chocolate lollies, marshmallow cones, handmade hearts and hot chocolate for every member of staff and they dropped them down last week as a surprise.

They had donations from local businesses and parents and grandparents and they even had enough money left over to donate £108.50 to the Marpool School Association.
