    The outstanding Cheltenham Festival is just around the corner and there is already plenty of excitement coming from racing fans all over regarding the action that awaits this year.

    The Cheltenham Festival is always one of the highlights in the sporting calendar every year and that is set to be no different this time around with some fantastic racing already in the pipeline for the 2020 Festival.

    Wednesday at Cheltenham Festival has always been Ladies’ Day, helping it become one of the favourite days for many amongst the four-day action that takes place across the week from Tuesday to Friday.

    Gates open for the 2020 Ladies’ Day at the Cheltenham Festival at 10:30, with the first race of the day taking place three hours later in The Ballymore Novices' Hurdle Race.

    The second race of the day is The RSA Insurance Novices' Steeple Chase at 14:10, which is then followed by The Coral Cup Hurdle (A Handicap Hurdle Race) (Grade 3) at 14:50.

    Each day at Cheltenham sees the feature race take place at 15:30 and Wednesday’s standout fixture is the The Betway Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase (Grade 1), that is worth £400,000 to the winner.

    After that is the 16:10 The Glenfarclas Cross Country Steeple Chase and the 16:50 The Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle Race (Grade 3), before the day’s racing comes to a close with The Weatherbys Champion Bumper (A Standard Open NH Flat Race) (Grade 1).

    The Park also plays host to Love Island host Laura Whitmore at 4:30pm, who will be playing a 90-minute DJ set for those who fancy something different later on in the afternoon.

    Wednesday is always one of the highlights of the Cheltenham Festival schedule and with just over £1m available in total prize money across the day, there is sure to be plenty of drama and excitement across the day.
